I got this picture off Mr. Brown's blog, which explicitly shows how much the Philippine police is making a mockery out of themselves. I'm not usually bothered by another country's domestic affairs, but the stupidity and uselessness of the Manila police when a Hong Kong tourist bus was hijacked earlier this month, cost 8 innocent and unjustified lives.

The BBC wrote a very interesting article which revolved around basic common sense and reflected how bloody brainless these policemen were. They must've became dumb from eating too much dried mangoes and confused the profession of a policeman with that of a bribe collector. Another explanation, as from the photo above, could be that they have been spending the bulk of their training time "playing pretend."
Wake up Philippines! Stop sending your women abroad to work. Wtf are the men doing? Playing dolls at home???
hey em! awesome blog you have :) unfortunately the situation in the philippines is not that simple... both the women AND the men go abroad to work cos their economy is too weak to support them. there's just no other way. most of the economic problems stem from the usual - tons of bad leaders, corruption etc.

hi row row, i totally agree with the economic perspective, but forgive me, i'm just lambasting at the manila police because of their inefficiency which resulted in the deaths :( Am very angry at them.
