Today was a good day at work because I managed to get a lot of things done within a short span of time. Although halfway through I did get a little cranky and decided to whip out my Willy Wonka look alike glasses with a small packet of candy attached, and eating the little pastel coloured candy balls indeed did make me feel better.
First Take @ Substation thereafter was lovely! The quality and depth of works by the young budding filmakers in Singapore is amazing. Enjoyed watching most of the films very much, each had it's own story, it's own identity and voice. The most intriguing part about it was that it was very thought provoking. So much so, that it was difficult to grasp the full meaning of the scenes sometimes. Kept my head running through the various scenes as I walked breezely home because medium sized pellet drops of rain was falling quickly. Certainly was enriched & inspired after watching those short films. Had a nice late night out with coffee & J. too. Haven't particularly been out this late for a while other than being burried in my office doing Payroll.
Gotta go to sleep now! Off to the beach tomorrow to fly my kite after work. Whoopee :)
