#56 Alone in a big city

Mummy left for home in Singapore this morning. Haven't felt so sad in a long time. I stood in front of the hotel, in the cold, at 5.30 in the morning feeling terribly abandoned in this place. I'm quite tired from packing up my apartment and cleaning- my hands are dry now. I don't think I spoke a single word today.
